Queue Management Technology for Office Phones
If you have a public phone number for your business it's highly likely that more than one customer may try to contact you at the same time. Traditionally this has resulted in one of the customers receiving an engaged signal requiring them to call back at a later stage, or worse, call one of your competitors.
But thanks to VoIP technology, your business can now place phone callers into a queue where they receive hold music until there is a person available. Alternatively, you can direct the caller to voicemail to leave a message, or, you can use virtual hold that enables that customer to hold their position in the queue, and then your business phone system will make an outbound call to the customer when they've reached the top position in the queue.
